Really? I lived in Ithaca for 5 years. My daughter was born in Tompkins Cty. Hospital. Was there from 1972 (the BIG Elmira Flood) to 1977. Moved to Syracuse (

The Octopus!
Robert Treman State Park!
Buttermilk Falls State Park!
I will be visiting my daughter for a week in the middle of next month - she now lives in Corning. We intend to take a day drive to Ithaca. -

A couple cocky players on that Grizzlies team. Got to see them play in Vegas a month ago. What a finish to. No time on the clock, 3-2 score on the board, buzzer sounding, crowd cheering because the game is over and the ref pointing at the net.... Never in my life have I seen a game finish like that, and all for a whopping 116 seconds of overtime in what turned out to be a sweep series. Was a fun time though for sure.

You people are scaring me. I've lived or visited a lot or do business in some of the places just mentioned.
Ithaca, great place with New York weather patterns, except the heavy snow misses it because of the Finger Lakes. It hits Syracuse instead.
But we can also talk about winds around the Cornell campus and the gorges around there. Not to mention Finger Lakes wineries......
