So which is it, you're getting paid for this or have huge amounts of spare time on your hands?

I guess you're a glass half empt kind a guy!

Really? I lived in Ithaca for 5 years. My daughter was born in Tompkins Cty. Hospital. Was there from 1972 (the BIG Elmira Flood) to 1977. Moved to Syracuse ()

Syracuse, you say? I'm just across the lake (and border) in Kingston, Ontario Canada. I quite often go to Syracuse on business and prefer to take any flights to US destinations out of the airport there. Also spend alot of time in Watertown and Alexandria Bay.

I'm in Ithaca about once a week. Just took a bunch of students for a picnic to Taughannock Falls - wheee!

Plus, I attended LeMoyne college in Syracuse! Small world.

I grew up in the Detroit area and did so much clubbing in Windsor from the age of 19 that by the time I was 21 I had absolutly no interest in bars or clubs lol.

Actually we have a pretty good semi-pro team called the Grizzlies. The games are cheaper, the seats are better, and there is more fighting

I do miss having an NFL team though..

A couple cocky players on that Grizzlies team. Got to see them play in Vegas a month ago. What a finish to. No time on the clock, 3-2 score on the board, buzzer sounding, crowd cheering because the game is over and the ref pointing at the net.... Never in my life have I seen a game finish like that, and all for a whopping 116 seconds of overtime in what turned out to be a sweep series. Was a fun time though for sure.

You people are scaring me. I've lived or visited a lot or do business in some of the places just mentioned.

Ithaca, great place with New York weather patterns, except the heavy snow misses it because of the Finger Lakes. It hits Syracuse instead.

But we can also talk about winds around the Cornell campus and the gorges around there. Not to mention Finger Lakes wineries......

Born in a nice suburb around Detroit. Crossed the Ambassador Bridge many times.
Still have old friends in that neck of the woods.

Yup, spent some time on the Cornell campus. I'm back on the west coast now, but some fond memories there. I'll probably visit again, as a friend of mine is moving back...but it's been a few years.
