definitely will be getting there will be blood and bee movie. Maybe face/off....haven't seen it since the theaters and remember it being okay so will wait to see a review of the disc. If paramount had announced this a week or two earlier they would've had a cloverfield blind buy from me but I saw it last week and it wasn't too good. I'll definitely pass on next. I saw that on hd dvd and the quality was fine but the movie was lacking for something based off of philip k dick.

It's great that all the studios are releasing on blu now though so welcome back paramount.

Cloverfield and There Will be Blood are not coming out till June 3. Hopefully the MSRP on all these releases will be reasonable and not Fox prices.

Loving all the "OMG - WHERE ARE THE FILMS I WANT. THIS IS CRAP!" comments.

I'm sure they will come.

I might get Cloverfield. It depends on what kind of video quality reviews it gets.

Haven't actually seen Cloverfield, but I saw enough of a divX rip to know I'd like to own the movie. As for I Am Legend....save your money dude. Its a dud in the purest sense of the word. Luckily, it was a rental for me.

hehe, jeeze, Favelle...not even for 19 dollah? That's, what, maybe 3 times the price of the rental? I am tempted...perhaps it's priced like that for a reason and there is something to all this dissing you're giving it?

WTH do mean? Universal has announced their plans already.

Clearly though just the fact that these two major companies have announced their plans and slated releases isn't enough. How come we never hear griping about what the other companies are not putting out? There is a HUGE amount of good movies that are not on Blu (or HD DVD for that matter) from all companies.

STFU and be glad they are officially releasing stuff.

I'm curious what Paramount's pricing is going to look like on blu ray.

It's good they're releasing something and I hope they plan on opening up the catalogue to HD this year.

Face/Off originally was announced on Blu-ray with a regular Dolby Digital track before Paramount jumped ship so hopefully they went back & put an lossless soundtrack on it.

If not I'll import the Australian Blu-ray for the uncompressed soundtrack.

It would be easier to import the UK Blu-ray but it's reported it's not the uncut version like the Australian Blu-ray is.

I'm glad Paramount finally made an announcement.

I just hope Paramount & Universal both release high bitrate video encodes & lossless sound on BD-50s.

While we're making a wish list please Warner no more Dolby Digital soundtracks. Lossless sound on all titles also.
There is a rumour that the new Paramount Blu-ray releases will have Dolby TrueHD.
