This link does not mean anything.

That being said, I am pretty sure that HD DVD will count with a new studio in before a 12 months period.
This format War is starting to get hot outsid of the HT and HD circuits.
The whole format war is a marketing product that will sell.

    I am serious about it.

You can not call it High definition movies. Just think about it for a while and I know that within your head you will find an answer.
I'm not sure you know... I could see some people getting confused with this.

I really think Lion's Gate will go neutral based on how successful their HD movie downloads have been on XBL. I don't think it's a stretch for them to release how much extra money they could make promoting the HD DVD add-on and noting movies they're releasing on HD DVD to be used with it.
HD DVD, the best in extras!

My HD DVD list: "Clerks 2", "The World's Fastest Indian", "The Thing", "V For Vendetta", "Enter the Dragon" and "Casablanca".
My Blu-ray list: "Warriors Of Heaven and Earth", "Curse Of the Golden Flower", "Kung Fu Hustle", Weeds Season 2, "Rent", "Tekkonkinkreet",
"Lives Of Others", "Black Book", "Hairspray", "Kingdom Of Heaven: Director's Cut", Sanctuary S1, "Chungking Express", "Videodrome", "Contact", "Paprika".

their like the Weinstein Company, they dont advertise that much and arnt that big of a studio even though for example Lionsgate has SAW movies and Dimension (Weinstein) has Grind house, they both have pretty good movies. but Lionsgate/Weinstein can go neutral anyday.

i kinda agree with you,i do see lionsgate going neutral and its not that big as if Fox was going , but i see Disney going neutral first(if a studio is ) since for example Happy Feet is the 2nd most selling HD DVD title and that they were gonna be neutral since start and arnt like fox that say BD has won ect. but since lionsgate are going to release like 2 movies on 1 BD, i think they might stick with BD for now untill the 51 GB HD DVD becomes avaliable

I serious, the DVD should be removed - for High definition movies to succeed it must be different than the past. Otherwise why not still purchase DVD. By the way the future High definition movies already have a name and its called "Blu-ray" Fox is always going be Blu-ray in the High definition world. DVD's are part of past and for the standard definition world. High definition world needs something different - Just as DVD was different than VHS, Blu-ray is different than DVD.

I like HD DVD's name better, because isn't that what it is. High Defintion DVD?
Blu-Ray sounds like a new flavor of Doritos, but i still love the format.

Thnaks for letting us know that Blu-ray is different than DVD. I am pretty sure most of the people on the forums did not notice it before.

Good point about "Happy Feet" selling well. Granted Disney hasn't really released much of their kids titles on BR or at least the big one's, "Cars" being one, but if they see that HD DVD is no slouch in children's movie sales they may consider bringing their movies to it as well. If they do I'll take both Rescuer's movies as well as the Ducktales movie. Some of the old "Parent Trap" stuff I'll think about but "Tron" will be one I'd definitely consider buying. "Oliver and Company" and a few others I'd be interested in as well, maybe "Lady and the Tramp".
Weinstein I don't know about going neutral anytime soon as it could potentially hurt them. As it stands it seems like almost all their movies have gone down to $20 a piece, including new releases. Sony and everyone else should follow their example if they want to really sell new releases as well as old on the HD formats. If "Clerks 2" stayed $30 I wouldn't have bought it. Seriously great job pricing Harvey, now can we get "The Protector" and "Seven Swords" on HD DVD?
One thing is for certain, if either Disney or Lion's Gate go neutral, it will cement HD DVD fans resolve to stick with their format of choice.

Like most of you, I want movies like Star Wars and Aliens. If they want HD DVD to go away, releasing movies people want to buy would be a start.
Maybe they are waiting to see which format is worth their best titles, if any. Only time will tell.

FOX OVERPRICES their and MGM titles. and that is a big factor, also is that they don't do much BD50 discs, movies like Broken arrow cry for VC-1 AND BD50.
I noticed that when checking out X3... BD-25, no special features, and $40.
