Blu-ray Disc Ass'n London Press Conference
http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=67038
Not much new, but looks like a nice event. My
question is where are the HD DVD Promotion
Group Press Conferences. You'd think there
would be some releases announced by now.

OMG, was this really an official BD press conference in London? LMAO!!! I am a huge BD supporter but these pictures seem to depitct more of a lame attempt for a frat party, gaming night, or get together! Please tell me someone took a shot of the cheese dip? I really wanna know if it was jalepeno queso or just plan queso!

Guys, remember that it's a press conference and not a publicly accessible event or a huge trade show. Only about 20-30 people were invited.
No shots of the cheese dip. Sorry

Press events for smaller industries are often in such places as rental lofts, restaurants or clubs. Given its just the UK, its not a huge event.

i prefer this kind of event to a 1000 people in a conference room with a powerpoint show, you get to talk to the people, chat about the product
i say this from having sat through hours of microsoft (and other) khaki conferences, give me a one to one on a sofa with a bottle of wine anyday

Blu-Ray Disc Ass. I didn't need to read anymore than that.

Sorry, couldn't resist that one.
