A classic example of too little, too late. Why would anyone waste money on the add-on when for the same price they can get a stand-alone player?

Unfortunately for Microsoft - USB Blu-ray drive might not work for the 360, may have the redesigned the 360 for it. Just my opinion - but I would think it would have some BD+ risks.

Yeah whenever HD DVD players get a price cut they are fire selling or getting rid of stock.

Let me ask you, what retail company wants to keep stock?
I ignore people with political signatures because I don't come here for stupid propaganda.

Hah... no retail company wants to keep stock. They want to get rid of them as soon as they can.

Too bad for you that in the real world sales continue to improve, and the largest game companies in the world and most consulting firms publicly state that they think the PS3 will outsell the 360 this year.

Of course. Everyone is getting rid of them. Makes sense to me.

They did it to the original X-Box. They're doing it with XP. THey'll clear everything out to prevent throwing away money.

thats the most intelligent thing I've read today...that's what all companies do, even blu ray with its profile 1.0 players, if you can still sell an HDTV for over 1,000$ why not right?

I mean if I'm a corporation and you have people enough to purchase your product at a higher price...who am I to cut prices to save them money?
