Thread: Thank you Warner

...and eventually Warner will stop releasing on HDDVD, and eventually none of the studios you are predicting will go neutral will, and eventually retailers will phase out HDDVD, and eventually even more small distribs will become Blu-exclusive, and eventually we will begin enjoying all the great releases that will be on BR only.
Eventually the misconceptions and lies will stop and BR will become a mass format.
I am more excited about the eventual part pertaining to BR than I am to the faux-eventualism you fabricated in your post.

Well i'm here to screw up your "facts" because, myself and 5 other people I know did NOT "jump on that" one of them actually bought themselves a SA BD player. If the consumers can ignore it so can the studios and no one's considering going nuetral more than the HD-DVD die hards.
Have you ever played frisby with CD's? I'm sure that's what warner is doing with their HD-DVD's right now. -

Hate to disapoint you but www.thedigitalbits.com just confirmed the Dirty Harry films will NOT be on HD-DVD
"All five Dirty Harry films will also be available in Blu-ray disc (but not HD-DVD - this corrects an error in our original Tuesday post). " -

HD DVD stalwarts better get used to the idea of Twister being their last WB release. I think it is pretty appropriate considering how they'll be leaving the format twisting in the wind.
