Default Alienware produces HD Media Server with Blu-Ray!

Homes Fall Under Control of New Alienware High Definition Media Server

Alienware is a leader in digital entertainment – as evidenced by our high-performance multi-media and gaming platforms,” says Marc Diana, product marketing manager for Alienware. “The Alienware High Definition Media Server fulfills a distinct and growing need both of distributers and installers looking for a better digital media solution and of consumers venturing into an era of digital integration.”

Benefits to the end user include:

    - Single source consolidation of digital media eliminates trying to remember which files are saved on which computer.
    - Remote access from any Internet-ready Windows® system or Windows® mobile device lets users enjoy their digital libraries from anywhere.
    - Multi-room music devices and media extenders eliminate conflicts over multiple users trying to access different files from the same system.
    - High definition playback allows users to view downloaded HD content directly or watch movies on Blu-ray Disc® in full 1080p.
    - Four hot-swappable hard drives, totaling 4TB of capacity, utilize a RAID 5 configuration for automatic backups and increased data security.
    - 7.1 Surround Sound Preamp Output eliminates need for a breakout box for a direct external amp connection.

True, but he shouldn't dream about Alienware too much
I have a notebook from them and after 2 fried graphics cards/motherboards, I had to get the Attorney General/ Better Business Bureau after them to replace it's guts a 3rd time.
Their desktop I had before that worked well, though.

Dell has supported Blu-ray since 2006 and owns Alienware. Its not really a domino when they've stood behind the format for over 2 years.
