Default New Line: 'Pan's Labyrinth' Last HD DVD Title

Confirming earlier reports that it would follow Warner to Blu-ray exclusivity, New Line says its first HD DVD title ('Pan's Labryinth') will also be its last.

You know, Jed...when reading that piece of information and then looking at your forum avatar. One for the books.

Sweet ! Kinda figured with all the optimized Blu's coming from New Line this would be the case.

Now, if they can just get LOTR out !

Wow I wanna laugh but it would be so mean of me...

How pathetic is that...New Line's only HDDVD title was it's first and last.

Atleast we got to enjoy paramount for almost a year and 35-40 titles before they defected to HDDVD.

You get ONE NewLine Title, and that's it!!! I bet you that will be a collector's item (no sarcasm...really!)

That's kind of sad for the HD DVD guys that were hoping for the last few New Line titles, but I don't blame New Line for not wanting to release downgraded HD versions of their films.

Now that they've made their choice in the format, please release Seven and The Lord of The Rings trilogy, the extended versions please.

I wonder if Pans will be a collectors item down the road, being it's the 1 and only HD DVD title they release...

Ha Ha. I thought the same.

That's pretty sad that Pan's Labyrinth is the first AND last New Line HD DVD.

I just bought pan's labrynth on HD DVD along with zodiac... I want it on my favorite format before pan's is gone forever and it becomes like shooter on bd... thanks new line... i really wanted rush hour 3 on HD DVD... i'll wait for the trilogy to be ultra cheap on blu-ray now or for it to come to comcast... guess i'm stuck with a blu-ray of shoot em up... oh well.
