Default Petition to Save HD-DVD (WB, the consumer has not "clearly" chosen Blu-Ray)

Hi guys, to all HD-DVD supporters like myself who were terribly upset with yesterday's announcement of WB goin blu-ray exclusive, please sign this petition I started and spread the word, so that hopefully HD-DVD will be kept alive. The petition will be sent to Warner Brother's in hopes of changing their minds to return to format neutral or HD-exclusive, and to Universal & Paramount to show them that HD fans are loyal in an effort to keep them HD-exclusive.

They are not going to give back $620 million.

They have already choosen to piss off 930.000 HD DVD users. They don't care anymore.

You'd do better to collection a billion dollars or so from HD DVD fans to buy off 1 or 2 major studios. Looks like Warner was simply trying to end the war picking the format less likely to succumb to a Warner defection (Blu-ray).

I don't think the petition will do anything. At the end of the day $500mil overrides anything that a small group, regardless of which side they support, has to say.

Give it up and spend your time more effectively auctioning off your HD-DVD gear....

Warner made the RIGHT DECISION.

Where are those magic millions you talk about? I read an article here in HDD about Warner not taking money for the deal.

Signed. Why settle for less when the "dead" format currently offers more? And I'm not referring to the less tangible benefits like bandwidth and space.

and I read an article that they did. I also read another article that said Fox was paid to stay BD first, THEN Warner was paid to switch. If you think no money was offered from both sides, then put down the crack pipe homeslice.

Works both ways. I think people are just glad we can pretty much say that there will be 1 format. Now to see if that format remains a PS3 format or not
