Well, I must admit I was ready for another "dammit shutup" when I read your thread title. But this is from Reuters, and not some random blog--it may actually be legit. I'll remain cautiously optimistic about it.

Sorry,

If this is already being discussed, please lock the thread.

Do note however, that the Reuters article states it as true.

from Reuters, its pretty much in the bag at this point. They wouldnt be reporting on it if it were message board fodder. Its over folks, lets move on and just get this HDM vs DVD off with a bang!!!!!!

The two sources are Beatboy and Bill Hunt.

I wonder why Warner will be at the HD DVD press conference Sunday?

This actually belongs in the "one" Warner Brother thread, but Reuters is a notable outlet.

The thing is that they didn't say who their sources are and this makes it harder to believe.

The fact is that Warner Brothers might well go Blu-Ray only... it is a distinct possibility.

Being that it is from Reuters it actually has some credibility. That is impressive, if true.

This reminds of Sony's format merger "leak" back in 2005 which was not true.

How many times has Warner denied these rumours from both sides.

Reuters reports Warner going Blu!

War Is Over

http://www.reuters.com/article/rbssC...32340820080104

Note: I know there is already a mile long warner thread but that is just speculative now there is a source which deserves its own thread
