More PR BS from Graffeo and co.

Great fire sale guys. Keep up the good work.

Oh yeah, and first it says this is just dedicated players, and in the same sentence it says the number includes X360 add-ons. Make up your mind.

Bull! After the Wally sale, HD DVD SA stood at 420K. So these new numbers are all A3s and MS Add-on. Since I doubt many ADD-ons were sold, most of the additional 330K were HD A3s. Read it and weep!

Over a month to do it, 62,500/week or less than 9000 a day. Doesn't sound that asinine seeing as the height of the buying season is upon us...the only factor really working against them is the economy.

Actually, no.

The projection was for a milliion standalone Toshiba players.

They are trying to fudge it and look it better than it does (what else is new) by throwing the add-ons into the mix.

As of Nov.2, sales were 420K stand-alones and about 230K-250K add-ons.

Now they say 750K, counting the add-ons.

So they are at 520K standalones, tops.

Again, the revised end-of-year projection was a million standalones.

Not "a million dedicated players".

The XBox add-on IS a dedicated player! It's only purpose is to play HD DVD movies. Nobody would buy one unless they intend to use it for movies!

If you're going to whine like a little girl, at least get your facts straight!
