Woah! Was that a record? Dr Frankenstein couldn't do better work!
I'm not familiar with the film. But didn't I read this is being released on Bluray? Is there an HDDVD version out there? Would make a nice comparison and could be very smackdownish!

It was a WB release, so both versions will look exactly the same since it they are the same encode. The time listed on the back of the case says 219 minutes, not the 231 mentioned above. Also the HD DVD is a combo disc with the movie on one side and the special features on the other. The Blu-ray has everything on a single-sided BD-50.

Ahhh ok. I haven't kept up on that info. Thanks Bruce. So all that nitpicking was a waste of time! Things like this make me wish HDDVD had won. All things being equal. Just the Java alone. I hate java with a passion. I think it really made me dislike the Bluray format in the beginning. I've grown to live with it and it has gotten better. I just think it slows down the whole experience. But that might just be me being picky.
