Vudu cards are a different sku.

Anyways it took awhile but youve finally realized the world today is different than it was in 1997. Its the 'kitchen sink' model because thats the market we're in. Any new format needs to be able to play on multiple devices.

Card. Only one movie has a special card (that I'm aware of). Good job pointing out the exception to the rule.

Its what you do all the time, so why can't he do the same?

In this case, it seemed to be a perfectly legitimate point since you were describing the Vudu card for Battle: Los Angeles as the wave of the future. Its kinda hilarious for you to attack a practice that you use all the time and the example that you first brought up. Its like you are attacking yourself. Priceless.

Exception to what rule. The VUDU/CINEMANOW CARDS ARE DIFFERENT SKUS.
Do you deny that digital cards will have a growing presence at retail?

3D BD, Combo BD, Regular BD, DVD, SE DVD, Digital Card
The market has more skus than ever. Your notion that the market just now cant support multiple skus where as they were prevalent in DVDs time doesnt make a lick of sense. If anything the market was more focused on one format in DVDs time.

With the 3.70 update, all of the PS3 doubters have been proven wrong once again since it now does lossless audio with 3D (not that I could tell the difference, but it's there now), and proper menus, BD-Java etc.

More false premises and doubts about the PS3 from those who backed the wrong side in the format war...I'm not surprised.

You would think that people would stop betting against the PS3 when it comes to this forum:
    - It can't upscale DVD!
    - It can't play BonusView!
    - It can't play BD Live!
    - It won't play 3D!
    - It can't play lossless 3D!
    etc, etc, etc

The PS3 has always been a very impressive Blu-Ray player. If you are a gamer, there is not really much point in buying another BD player if you have one.

I called this a long time ago. I knew it would eventually happen but Sony wasn't able to do it initially for competitive reasons.

Very cool. Does this apply to all PS3 models?

And hey - only took 1.5 years since 3D BD was introduced. Guess we can just ignore that....

LOL. Automatic Trophy Syncing is a PS Plus service. Classic.

There was a reason for waiting.

Oh, and you clearly ignore the fact that the PS3 came out in NOV 2006 before 3D was even standardized.

So it took almost as long as the format war lasted for Sony to do 3D properly. Let's give them a round of applause.

And it's been over three years and someone is still bitter about his company losing the format war. Who would have thunk?

3D BD is still in its infancy, so it's not too late at all.

Nothing compared to having the nerve and audacity to charge for Netflix and other video services and online gaming. MSFT is still extremely evil, have no doubt.
