Default Best Buy to have sub $60 Toshiba BD player on BF

So scans from the BB flyer show that they will be selling the Toshiba BDX1100 for $59.99 on Black Friday.

    http://www.black-friday.net/best-buy-ad-scan.html

A good thing for BD sales but a bit ironic considering the brand.

BB will also be selling a handful of "so-so" BDs for $8 each as well.

Wow... Keep in mind that Costco player (most likely the 370 model which is called the BX-37) is going to include an HDMI cable and a lifetime return policy. If that price is accurate that is a ridiculous deal on an awesome player.

I own the player luclin999. Love it. Faster than the PS3, great UI, lots of streaming, etc. I am going to try and grab another one most likely for that price.

That might be one of those door buster deals so stock per store may be limited. The S370 has an MSRP of $179.99

Less than the price of 2 blu-ray discs.

The BDA should consider giving away blu-ray players for free.

Yeah, that "premium" price is now long gone. Only took 4 years (or 2.5 if we don't include the format war like many here don't). It's now DVD in 2006.

Retailers sold DVD players for $50 or under as early as 2002....

It was worth it though. People actually upgraded their vhs movies to dvd.

I dont see many people upgrading their dvd versions to bluray when the player costs less than 2 bd's.
