Best Buy to have sub $60 Toshiba BD player on BF
So scans from the BB flyer show that they will be selling the Toshiba BDX1100 for $59.99 on Black Friday.

A good thing for BD sales but a bit ironic considering the brand.
BB will also be selling a handful of "so-so" BDs for $8 each as well. -

Wow. $45 for a bd player. No reason why bd shouldnt sell at least $4 billion next year with pricing on players erroding this fast.

Yeah, that "premium" price is now long gone. Only took 4 years (or 2.5 if we don't include the format war like many here don't). It's now DVD in 2006.

It was worth it though. People actually upgraded their vhs movies to dvd.
I dont see many people upgrading their dvd versions to bluray when the player costs less than 2 bd's. -
