Just came from The Sony Store ...

C'mon, the guy works for Sony so he probably knows that their players will be obsolete. Also he probably forgot to take his blu pill this morning....

Yesterday I went online and talked to this guy on aim. His name on aim was "Toshiba OMG CEOz" and he told me HD DVD will be obsolete by 2008 and that he prefers HD DVD, but that he will be buying blu rays from now on since HD DVD will be obsolete soon. Just my side of the story.

I found it funny that Amir (MS HD DVD VP) admitted that he owned a Blu-Ray player in the Insiders Forum..

Someone better check his Vista programmed Toshiba brain chip... it seems to be malfunctioning.

So i was looking for a new LCD TV, i went to the Sony Store to check out their Bravia's. I met the rep, we talked about TV's, he said the difference between Samsung and Sony HDTV's ...

So after we talked about the HDTV's, I asked him questions about the HD DVD vs. Blu-ray . He told me the normal specs (HD DVD is cheaper, Blu-ray has more capacity) which i knew but i didnt tell him i own a HD DVD player, so after he told me the specs and qualities of each format, i asked him which of the 2 formats is worth getting. I was suprised, he said both formats have their own advantages but he said he would chose HD DVD .

The guy had no intrest in Blu-ray. Its really weird, a guy that works at the SONY STORE recommands HD DVD, well it was a suprise, but he was a honest guy.

He's just a guy working at the store...not a Sony board member

I always have this image of Amir watching POTC 1+2 on his BD player and listening to the PCM tracks with his $15K (or however much he paid for them) headphones on and muttering to himself:

"Lossless doesn't matter... Lossless doesn't matter... DD+ is good enough.. DD+ is good enough..."

Ahhhh, ha, ha!!! That's hilarious! It's funny how every reviewer on the planet disagrees with that sentiment.
