HD DVD Studio support.
*EDIT* I'm not going to 'weed through' this post, and figure out what is still correct or not. As most everyone knows by now, the HD DVD format is 'dead'. Toshiba, the only major manufacturer of players, pulled the plug in Feb 08. Most of these studios are no longer releasing content on the format, and are now Blu-ray exclusive.
Which movie studios are supporting HD DVD?
Each of the major studios are taking their own positions in the high-def format wars, meaning that each studio decides individually which format(s) on which to release their content.
The following studios are releasing content in the HD DVD format:- Universal
- New Line Cinema
- Warner
- Paramount
- Image
- Rhino
- The Weinstein Company
- Bandhi
- Canal Studios
The following studios are *not* releasing content in the HD DVD format:- Disney (including Touchstone, Miramax)
- Sony Picture (including MGM/Columbia Tristar)
- 20th Century Fox

When is (insert movie name here) going to be released on HD DVD?
If it's not in the lists linked above, the movie in question likely hasn't been announced for release. You might bring it up in our HD DVD Software General Discussion board -- you never know who's reading.
