No thread on this yet?

I dug the pilot a lot. Yes, it was a little derivative of Lost, but it seemed to hit all the right notes. The mystery is compelling. They're already layering in subtle clues. Good characters and writing.

There was a nice shout-out to Lost with an Oceanic Airlines billboard as well. Interesting that it said "Perfect Safety Record". I think that's just a joke, but my wife is convinced that it's an official tie-in to Lost and a clue about what will happen at the beginning of Season 6.

is this available to watch online?
I had to watch Survivor instead.
guilty pleasure--don't judge.
can't believe they were on at the same time.
Will 8 et be the regular time slot for "FF" or will it be 9?

just finished watching it.
I thought it was very well done.
liked it a lot, but all the commercials were very annoying.
I see that it is going to be on at the same time as Survivor each week.
no dvr here.
hmmmm...........this could prove problematic.
fml.

Just watched it and thought it was pretty good. We'll be tuning in for the next one for sure.

I liked it. It was better than I thought it would be. Hope it sticks around a while and stays interesting. I read where the creators have a five year story plan/arc mapped out - if it lasts that long. Not sure I want it all to drag out nearly as long as LOST but a couple or three years would be OK.

I liked it. I mean LOST is going to be finished very soon, and Prison Break got cancelled this year, so this does kinda fill the spot.

Hehe... I resemble that remark. In spite of several vows to never watch it again, our family seems to be ready to give Survivor another chance by the time it comes around again....

However, we finally joined the DVR ranks recently so we recorded FlashForward and watched it last night. We enjoyed it and are quite intrigued to see how it moves forward.

I kind of gave up on it well before the episode ended. There were just too many characters introduced right off the bat. I absolutely hate that trend of network dramas to have a giant ensemble introduced before you as a viewer even care about a single person on the show.

watching episode 2.
they have been showing a rerun on Fridays each week so far.
this series is so well done.
really enjoying it so far.
one thing that I keep noticing is it seems like every now and then the video frame rate seems to be be off.
I'm not talking about the obvious flashback scenes, but it's like really subtle in just normal scenes, but almost random.
so subtle that I'm trying to figure out if it's something to do with the cable.
I can't put my finger on it, but I don't watch a lot of prime time drama, and was wondering if maybe this is some common technique now.
maybe it's just because I'm so used to watching 24p now.
I don't know.
It's really strange because it's not consistent.
anybody notice this.

^^^ I seem to recall some scenes that appear to have a shutter effect - the same as if a video camera has the shutter turned up to make fast moving images more clear.
