Jane Lynch continues to be hilarious in the show too. Loved it last night when she tore apart Will/Emma/Ken in the teachers lounge. I like how she keeps purposefully mis-pronouncing Emma's name and calling her mentally ill (and I mean she is with the clean-freak thing but it's funny how Jane Lynch keeps telling her she's mentally ill)

Here's my PSA for this show being on tonight!

Kristen Chenowith from Pushing Daises guest stars as a former Glee Club star who's also an alcoholic (which should be funny) and even better, she's singing "Alone" by Heart, so should be good.

Also there's a big cast sing of "Somebody to Love" by Queen which IMO looks to rival the performance of "Don't stop believing"

This show is hit or miss for me, but that football scene in last week's ep was one of the funniest damn things I've seen in ages. The way the episode was constructed was just perfect. Every crazy thing the kid told his father about joining the football team, and all of the "sports players" rehearsing to Beyonce songs, all came true right before the father's dumbfounded eyes. Beautiful. And the last scene with the father was well-handled too.

Really liked last night's episode. Kristen Chenowith didn't disappoint w/ the comedy or singing. Last song was really great too

Yeah, the drama is lame.

Not liking the way the show is going...

It's moved from a comedy which had some great humor to this teenage soap opera with a touch of humor.

It's certainly not a bad show, but I really wish they would have stuck to making it a more of a comedy.

I think it'll fluctuate much like Nip/Tuck did (same series creator.) I mean Nip/Tuck often had quite funny parts, but also was "grounded" in some type of reality and even had "heavy" drama episodes. So I think it'll fluctuate. But most definitely the humor is very dark in this show IMO.

I just love the show for Jane Lynch, the funny parts (which how was Kristen Chenowith not total comedy this week more or less? very little drama really), and the musical numbers. But it's definately a niche show not for everybody

Okay well last night's episode was one of the funniest yet (largely due to Jane Lynch being so prominent in it.)

Best quotes of the night:

"I'm about to vomit down your back"

"...Like the time I sold my house to a nice young couple and I salted the earth in the back yard so that nothing living could grow there for a hundred years. Know why I did that? Because they tried to get me to pay their closing costs."

"I like minorities so much, I'm thinking of moving to California to become one!"

"I don't trust a man with curly hair. I can't help picturing small birds laying sulfurous eggs in there, and I find it disgusting."

Jane Lynch better get an Emmy nomination for this show I swear. Her delivery of these lines is beyond great.
