Question about Charter and On Demand

I have a very basic package which does not include AMC. However, I can view AMC shows, like Walking Dead, on Charter's On Demand service. Is this normal? Or is there some free preview for the channel running, like they sometimes do?

i have charter and i believe you have to subscribe to the package that includes AMC to be able to view the on demand stuff.. i get that channel so i can't check it for you but i can tell you i cannot watch the premium channels on demand since i don't subscribe to them.
