I have one boxed up in my bedroom closet. I have one boxed up at my girlfriends house. And one sits on top of one of my 360s and is connected to it. Although I can't remember the last time I've used it. I have an LG BH200 in that room so if I look at any HD DVDs or BDs in that room I use the LG player now.

And I also put one of my LG combo players at my girlfriends so I won't be using the HD DVD add on I have there anymore.

I also used the drive to read DVD-ROMs and what not. However now I have an HD-DVD/BD-ROM combo drive in my PC, so now the add on just sits in my basement.

I kinda wished I sitll used it for my 360, because I actually do need to extra USB ports for my Live Vision Camera, but I never used it on my 360 anyway. It's also hooked up to my PC now, where it is never used. At least I still use the remote that came witht he add on drive!

still use mine....more than my standalone player as a matter of fact. i'm not sure why, but its just easier to turn the 360 on and put in a movie. the hd a30 takes forever and a day to start up.

I still use it. I don't have an HDTV at school with me (not enough room in the dorms), so I don't have a reason to bring a stand alone player.

Mine is in the living room so it still gets regular use. I also have a stand alone player in the bedroom which gets just as much use. I just watched Beowulf on it yesterday by the way - first time watching the movie in HD, great transfer.

i used mine last night to launch repair mode on an XP install on a laptop that was so small it had no built-in optical drive lol... With an HD DVD SA in the bedroom and a HTPC in the living room, it no longer gets used on the 360. I still find it handy to have around however. Two months ago a buddy used it on his HTPC and borrowed a few Discs from my HD DVD collection as an example.

Does anyone have problems with their HD-DVD players picture cutting out during movies? Mine goes black for a few seconds maybe 10 seconds at the most and then reappears but its very distracting.

I replaced mine with a HD-A30, as the HD-DVD add on wasn't reading all discs correctly.
It now sits in the closet, gathering dust.

Just sold my A-30 and about 20-ish movies on ebay for $155. I probably would have made a little more if I would ahve split the movies up, but it was nice just having to make one trip to have it shipped.
