Default Frozen 360 Screen

help...i popped in a movie today and when i turn the 360 on it gets to the xbox 360 onscreen and freezes there. it won't go any further no matter what...it turns on and off fine and even ejects discs fine. i turned it off and unplugged it for a couple minutes and it still does it. any suggestions on what i should do??? its one of the first generation Elites so its barely a year old...no RROD it just gets to the 360 screen and freezes.

If its first gen, its out of warranty. The only thing microplop will repair is the 3 RROD for 3 years. The extended warranty ONLY covers 3 RROD. If you tell them you get RROD and actually DON'T have that problem, they will charge you to fix, and possibly to ship it back since you lied. I wouldn't do something like that.

I assume you are putting a normal DVD in the unit and not talking about the HD-DVD player? If your machine gets to the 360 screen and freezes, usually all you have to do is turn it off and turn it back on again...if that doesn't work, have you tried different movies?
