rockband anyone???

you know i was thinking about it and then i thought to my self. i paid $170 for a game i want a new ******* guitar why should i settle for fixing a broken one. besides i did the express shipping where they take your cc # over the phone but only charge you if they don't get the broken guitar back within 28 days. i can wait 2 days for ym new guitar. i can play drums or halo 3 or just use my gh3 or gh2 guitar. but the lady on the phone said nothing about getting a free game from EA

At least it's just your guitars breaking. My whole dame Xbox broke just a few days after getting Rock Band.

i havent gotten any email from ea saying that i get a free game must be for people who had this prob for a while and are waitign for their guitars. i called yest and it is leaving michigan today via ups..

i picked up the game the other day. the drums are alot of fun and the DLC is great!

I dont really understand the mic thing much, and i have to say i really dont like the guitar (so i'm using the GH ones). Its the strumming on the guitar i dont like for the RB one, anyone else feel the same?

i use the gh3 one too, but i like just pushing all the buttons on the rb guitar for the solo part to get a bigger bonus.

It's only if you choose normal shipping and there happens to be a delay in getting you a replacement guitar. It's a tradeoff, free game or get guitar quicker.

I agree. This game rocks! Unfourntatley I can only play DRUMS ON EASY because I have a horrible sense of beat. But the guitars I can shred

I was the same way at first. In no time you'll find yourself 5 starring on Easy and ready to move on to Medium. I still struggle when I have to step on bass pedal inbetween hits.

If they ever come out with a drums only pack and my wireless LP doesn't get blocked I'd get this otherwise I can't justify spending the extra $ on a guitar I really don't want.

Trust me, easy and medium are the only two levels you want to go on if you play drums. Any harder = bye bye kick pedal.

I did buy that metal plate for the kick pedal, thanks Mr. English. Hopefully that will work, or else I'm just going to make my own.

Just got done w/ set 4 on expert drums. pretty realistic. Kudos to the developers so far....

My plate is doing its job quite nicely! I have no worries now about the pedal breaking. Just make sure you line the plate up at the bottom where the anchor point is. That is the second weakest point and another common breaking spot.

so how many songs have you guys bought / downloaded? i have got 2 packs and 2 singles right now...might do more but waiting to see if anything new i want comes out
