Assault Rifle and Beam Rifle are the most durable/reliable weapons, I think.
That said, Dual Spikers are a lot of fun as well...

Spartan Laser. I haven't missed a shot yet. Second would be the BR rifle followed by the Assualt rifle.
Covenant side would be the Carbine, and dual wielding plasma rifles, and the Needler which just owns. Brute side, the spikers are sweet, and the spike shotgun is pretty devestating.

 Gravity hammer-Grifball is addictive  While I think halo 2 was better, I still play halo3 more often and all I play on xbox is halo.
