Default 'Daylight' - High-Def Digest review

Peter's review of 'Daylight' is up. He says this mid-'90s Stallone flick is mostly borrowed goods, while this HD DVD edition follows suit with clearly dated video and audio masters, plus an incomplete supplements package that's rehashed from the original laserdisc.

I actually thought the first half hour was questionable, but found the transfer got better as the film progressed.

I thought this movie was terrible. Just thought it was dull and uninspired, probably thanks to Stallone. I'll pass thanks.

I liked it, but am satified with my DTS SD. I love Cliffhanger, which I have on Superbit. And, well, Rocky speaks for itself.

I liked Daylight as well and am sorry to see Universal not do much with what was an excellent 5.1 mix on the SD DVD.
This is one of the few Universal SD DVD's that received a 1.5 Mbps DTS track instead of the normal 768 Kbps DTS found on DVD-Video.

I thought the movie overall was pretty good.
