Default 'Saturday Night Fever' - pre-release buzz

Paramount Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the seminal '70s classic 'Saturday Night Fever' to HD DVD and Blu-ray this September 18.

I think I'd rather see the disco scene from "Airplane" in high def.

It's now 9-6 where is the pre-order?
Where is the announcement of the specs of this title?
Was is pushed back?
It's supposed to be released on the 18?

don't worry. you guys will be discoing soon enough. paramount probially wants it perfect. i saw airplane in hd... awesome film. it was on universal hd one afternoon and i would wait in line for it on hd dvd.

What'll be even better is when Universal finally comes out with all of the Naked Gun movies in HD.

to be honest though this news means little to me.

Saturday night fever is camp shite and will largely appeal to the same crowd as grease and hairspray

Some movies dont need the hi def treatment,imho. Saturday Night Fever is one of them, again imho. No big loss.
