Default 'Ultimate Matrix Collection' - High-Def Digest Review
Just posted Peter's review of 'The Ultimate Matrix Collection.' This one comes with some pretty lofty expectations, but Peter says fans won't be disappointed. He gives both the video and the audio a perfect score of five stars, saying that this HD DVD release compares favorably to anything he's seen yet on either high-def format. And although he was disappointed that the extras are presented in standard-def video, at least the newly-produced exclusive In-Movie Experience video commentaries provide a concise "best of" version of the extras, overlayed over full 1080p video.</p>

Man, I love my blu-ray but I must say I'm envious of you HD DVD guys until it gets released on blu, especially now with this review that states it's basically a flawless release!

I cant even describe how im feeling right now...
I just decided to take a quick look at the website before i went to bed and when i saw the review up....and pissed my pants....
This review even makes me want to have it right now and watch it....i seriously cant wait....im gonna go crazyyy

I recieved my copy yesterday, so I think I will be droping the Red pill this saturday, and just take a look at how deep the rabithole goes.

Even if someone didnt like the movies I still think every HD DVD owner should have them to show off to their neighbors and friends their kick ass home theater system

Such a shame that they didn't give the Animatrix the HD-DVD treating. It well diserves it, maybe even more then the sequels. I'll get it anyway, though. Is there any information as to when this box might hit Europe (otherwise i'll import it)?

I haven't seen any european release date yet. But you should buy it from www.axelmusic.com, it's rather cheap, and they don't charge very much for the delivery.

No date, but Warner confirmed a Blu-ray release later this year. I'm excited about the great transfer!
