Default 'Eagles: Farewell Tour I' - High-Def Digest review

Kenneth's review of 'The Eagles: Farewell Tour I - Live From Melbourne' is up. Capturing a stellar performance from the band's most recent world tour, Kenneth says this HD DVD release is pretty good shakes as well, highlighted by a 4 star (out of 5) video rating. An easy recommend for fans of the band.

I own this one and it's absolutely amazing!! To think they still were this good in 2004!! If you are a fan of there music it's a must own on HD DVD!! I had first rented it from Netflix to see how it was and after I watched it I was like oh yeah I have got to get this!!

I disagree with the reviewers' comments concerning audio. On my system this is one of the best concert soundtracks I have heard. A five star soundtrack from beginning to end. Reading a review with a 3.5 score on audio might have put me off if I didn't already own this. Thoroughly recommended.

This thread is old, but I just finished watching my copy from netflix and OMG... I've always been a major eagles fan, growing up on their music and all, but I gotta say that even if your not into the old school rock, rhythm n' blues, country music you'll prob still enjoy this flick. It's pretty amazing.

The PQ and AQ is amazing!

Kinda disappointed with the review for sure, I would say its Recommended.

oh please! The Eagles are fucking legendary. They are also coming out with a brand new album (first in like 25 years), and going on a worldwide tour! Can't wait to see them again.

lol, I love em too, but Hell Freezes Over (their last studio album) was released in 1994. So it's only been 13 yrs, but 13yrs too long

This is one of my favorite discs. I played the crap out of the SD that I burned so I jumped at the chance to pick it up. The PQ is very sharp and the AQ ain't too shabby either.
