Default HD survey

Please forgive me if this has already been posted but has any one seen this survey?

(Please see bottom of post)

This survey was created by an HD DVD enthusiast who has connections in Hollywood. He hopes/intends to use the survey to encourage potential future HD DVD releases. He needs some help getting more responses to the survey so I am trying to help spread the word.It seems that there is some potential for success here and not just a dream(actual preliminary talks under way) so if you would like to help encourage additional HD DVD releases please take a moment to do the survey. It wont take long and you have nothing to lose and much to gain.Thanks.

P.S. the potential releases are not big blockbusters so don't get over excited but on the other hand there is probably a greater chance of success with smaller releases.

Being new here I find that I am not allowed to post with a url yet so to get around this I am doing the following. If you wish to help out and take the survey you can find a link by going to the Amazon HD DVD forum and reading the Survey For Owners Of HD DVD Players thread.I think that this is a wothwhile effort and I personally have no stake in this except to gain the chance as a regular consumer to buy new HD DVD releases.Thank you again.

Thanks.I figure that while it may be a long shot it is at least a shot.If it works out we gain and if it doesn't we have nothing to lose.

Nothing to lose by filling it out.

I still love my HD DVD's and see no reason to ever get rid of them. If they still released movies in HD DVD, I would buy them.

It's not that I have anything against blu-ray. I just don't care for the way the "war" was won. The consumer didn't make the decision. It seems in all facets of life, the general public has less and less of a say in what they have happening in their lives. Money talks. That's why an inferior format won the HD war. That's why we have a couple of presidential candidates that are lack luster. Freddy

I filled it out. I would like to see something become of this, it would be great to see something new on HD DVD. I'm sure if they came out with something that has a general appeal and give it a limited release and target it to us HD DVD "Know it alls" it could be successful. That would really be all you could sell it to since most stores no longer carry HD DVDs.

I agree.I didn't care for the way Sony's movie studio payoffs afected the outcome.I am not anti blu-ray but rather pro HD DVD.I personally believe that it is the superior format. It is what I own and I have been quite pleased with my purchases. There are many HD releases that I still don't have so I expect to continue buying HD DVDs for a while yet.If new HD DVD releases were available I would chose those over blu-ray releases.
As for the presidential candidates,I also agree.I don't really want either one of them for president.

theres no reason to "let it go" as long as there is media to be had and devices to play that media! just my opinion.
