Default "Picture This" snowboarding HD DVD

$27.95 - 10% off code "asv10p" = $24.71 free shipping

http://www.actionsportsvideo.com/Scr...idproduct=2053

I ordered this and received the correct version. I haven't watched it yet.
I also ordered Apples & Oranges. They sent me the wrong one but they did end up getting me the right one in the red HD DVD case. I don't see it on their site anymore though. Also beware of "Destination Point" its listed as a HD DVD and the case insert even has the HD DVD logo printed on it. When I put it in my A30 its display says DVD and when I hit the OSD its says Mpeg2. So I guess it is just a regular DVD?
Edit: I watching "Picture This" right now and it is a HD DVD for sure.

you will know picture this is right because it has a silver sticker on the case that says Hd dvd and dvd combo. also when you open it, its a double sided disc, be warned though its in a regular sized dvd cardboard case. but the pq is awesome and its a great video

The display on my A30 says DVD after it loads and the PQ sucks..I don't know how else to tell...There are 2 discs...one disc is an audio cd..The other disc is 2 sided but both sides said DVD on my A30 after it loaded.
EDIT: both sides on the one disc contain different material...its not the same thing on both sides

My copy of "Picture This" is definitely a HD DVD. I know this because the menu doesn't work in my BH200!

I'm surprised I never heard of "Destination Point".

I thought the only sports HD DVD's were "Picture This" and that World Cup highlights disc from Europe.

I have Destination Point and I'm pretty sure its not a HD DVD.

Another snowboarding HD DVD is Apples & Oranges its looks like you can still buy it from here.

Both sides of Destination Point just played as a DVD in my PS3. I think its safe to assume whoever put the HD DVD logo on the cover art screwed up.

So you mean this is a combo disc with DVD on both sides?

Yes...I know I've had regular DVDs before that had widesreen on one side and regular on the other.

The guys at ASV I have been working with are out of the office till the 27th so I can't get back with him and tell him whats up... I will feel bad returning it because its not their fault and they have been working to get things right. They gave me some free DVDs as gifts for the troubles I guess.. If anyone wants to check for themselves I'll sell it to you.

Well that's just terrific, I ordered this about 10 days ago and it's on its way. Maybe I can refuse shipment but if it's coming regular mail then I'll have to return it.

From ASV? They aren't back in the office till after the 27th. Erik is who I've been dealing with. I'm sure he'll make it right.

Thanks for the name. If it's a combo with the same DVD content both sides, then it would seem to be a replication error rather than mistakenly printing HD DVD on the cover. Otherwise there would be no purpose for a combo. Oh well...

Its NOT the same content on both sides. One side is called "Destination Point" and the other side is called "TK7" The 2nd single side disc is a CD.
EDIT: Amazon has it listed as a regular DVD you can se in the pic the misprint HD DVD logo.
