Default So i take it no one hear was fortunate enough to get Bee Movie on HD DVD?

I'm quite suprised that no shops broke the street date and sold it. I though it would at least be like blades of glory for blu ray where a few managed to get it. Shame, i prefered the HD DVD box art. Looks like im going blu for it.

Just because no one has found it yet doesn't mean we won't try to pursue it. There has got to be some copies locked up somewhere.

Since it's just coming out on Blu, perhaps in a few months the HD DVD version might be made available through Amazon like the "Jack Ryan" set. Stranger things have happened.

If anyone has it i'll make an offer.
Why would amazon have it? Didn't they send it all back to Paramount?

The thing is, if they had stock wouldn't it be common sense to actually fulfil backorders?

Well Amazon DID have the Jack Ryan Collection that they released for sale about 2 weeks or so ago so yes its logical to POSSIBLY expect them to have Bee Movie back in a wearhouse somewhere waiting for the go ahead from Paramount to release them for sale.

There was one guy on ebay that sold it for $400.00 but personally I think it was a fake auction.

The only real thing I know is I have both Amazon.com and Amazon.ca orders still waiting. At this point because it has been pending for so long, I think that Amazon knows something we don't.

Why destroy them when you could sell them!

Yeah but how many times has it been bumped so far, 3? It could just be bumped again.

Would be cool if studios would still release on Red in smaller amounts kind of behind the scenes until the Blu-ray market takes off..... that would be fun!

I had pre-ordered this from Amazon a long time ago as well. They kept my order in place until recently and I dutifully went through the "confirm that I still want the item even though it was delayed" process every time.

However, they just canceled it, claiming that I did not confirm the delay notice. They now refuse to reinstate my order, claiming that they cannot obtain this item.

I'm going to be super upset if they turn out to actually ship a few of these!

I saw a copy at a distributor event type thing, but that was as close as I ever got. I had tons of Jack Ryans but was under strict instruction by Paramount to return them at the time.

Then how or why did Amazon get permission to sell what they had of the Jack Ryans?!! Or are they under different rules?!!
