Default 'Rescue Dawn (Dutch Import)' - High-Def Digest Review

Kenneth's review of 'Rescue Dawn (Dutch Import) has been posted. He recommends this challenging but rewarding film. As for this HD DVD, it's very strong, boasting an excellent video transfer and a convincing DTS HD MA audio track. The only downside is that the domestic Blu-ray's extensive bonus features are MIA on this Dutch release. If you want to build your HD DVD library, this one's worth adding to your collection, otherwise pick up the Blu-ray.

Getting this from the Dutch group import, can't wait. I don't know whether I'll like the movie or not, but I'm a huge Bale fan and I like all his movies, so I'll probably be happy with it. BTW, just watched American Psycho again last night, probably the 20th time or more Excuse me, I have to return some video tapes...

Great review, Bale again impresses me, great actor. He just pours himself into the roles. Thoroughly enjoyed this movie and agree with the review almost completely.

I enjoyed this movie also and thought it looked very sharp (which added to my enjoyment).

For me this is a 'one watch movie'. A movie I watch one time and enjoy it but really have no desire to watch it more than once.

Good for a rental but not to own (at least for me).

I watched this for the first time tonight....... Funny thing I've had this for over a year now, but just finally was in the mood and ready to watch this type of film.

This film is downright dirty and harsh with some of the most brillant performances I seen on film. I totally agree with the review here on HDD for this .

Great flick and great HD-DVD!

I watched it about 8 months ago and I already have a hankering to watch it again. I am a Christian Bale fan, but I think this is one of his better movies.
