The Matrix films are all sight and sound. These will be purchased for reference material, if anything. Hopefully the window between the HD DVD release and BD will be a long one. This is the type of BIG SELL title HD DVD needs now.

Yeah, this is pretty good news. I don't own the Matrix yet (like I said before I don't have a lot of DVDs) so I'll definitely want this. However I could do without the sequels.

If it takes as long as it has for Warner to bring Batman Begins, V For Vendetta, Posiedon, Troy, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Polar Express and Constantine to BD; it may be a LONG wait for this set.

The matrix 2 and 3 were amazing on a high intellectual level...,...in fact alot of top level universities use these movies a study tools in philosophy classes.......so don't call it crappy when you didn't truly understand it.
