Peter's review of 'Toto: Live in Amsterdam' is up. Aside from their 80's hits, he's not a big fan of the band. He says this HD DVD release is on the lower-rung of next-gen music releases, with a middling transfer and generic behind-the-scenes footage. Still, Toto fans may want to take a look.

It was not the American music fans had it right. They got more interested in a bunch of supposedly depressed grunge artists then the teens got into a bunch of lip synching trolips(Britney Spears and the rest of her ilk.
Not one of the supposed male stars around now could sing some of those songs that Bobby Kimbal sings. The fact that he is 60 and can still hit those high notes speaks for his talent. I would say that from 1979 to 1987 there was some great music made. It was accessible to a large audience and the artists for the most part didn't feel the need to bash anyone. It was just good time music. Something teenagers could use some of this day and age!!!!!! |
