Default 'The Invasion' – High-Def Digest Review

Just posted Peter's review of 'The Invasion.' He feels the film starts out promisingly, but quickly falls apart when the results of post-production tinkering and reshoots begin showing up on-screen. This HD DVD is a nice presentation of the film, however, with great video and audio, but lame supplements. Might be worth a rental if you're *really* interested in the film.

The HD DVD version is improperly listed as having a 24-bit TrueHD audio track in the tech specs side bar.

Also on the side-bar is a "2.35" aspect ratio which is in conflict with the 1.85 aspect ratio mentioned in the review.

I didn't know anything about the post production tinkering before I watched this film and I thought it was a great movie. If you are a die hard Bodysnatcher nerd...i mean fan, then you might not like the movie. But sounds like a really nit-picky review if you ask me. I guess that's what you're doing reviewing movies on here for(because you are nit-picky). I did think the the extras were REAL lame. They should have put some better history of the film on there. Like 3:10 to Yuma, I thought that had a great balance of extras. Although 3:10 itself sucked.
