The film looks incredible, the trailer caught my attention. A must buy for me. It has TrueHD 5.1 for the lossless fans and a few features.

I've heard a lot of good things about this movie. Still have not decided wether I'll be renting, or purchasing it. Either way I will definitely be watching it.

There are enough other good movies currently available on HD DVD that you'd probably still be able to justify the expense. Most of the HD DVD-exclusive movies are not going to be on Blu-ray for a long time, even if both Universal and Paramount were to go Blu tomorrow.
I agree that it would be very nice to have the Hitchcock movies on HD. -

I must say that if Toshiba is really throwing in the towel, it is odd to see promotional sites being brought up even over the weekend which fairly strongly (though not exclusively) promote the HD DVD version of a movie. Especially since it is still far enough away that they could easily enough drop the HD DVD version of the film. It makes me think there is perhaps more going on than meets the eye.Home Theatre room: Pioneer VSX-59Txi Elite Receiver, DV-59Avi Elite DVD Player, Toshiba A1, PS3 60Gb, Mits. 73" 1080p DLP HDTV, Dahlquist DQ-30 Front speakers, Regnar Center speaker, Dalhquist DQ-10 Rear speakers, Definitive BPX rear surrounds
