Any good B&W movies out there (besides Casablanca)?
Ladies and gentlemen*,
I think I've mentionend it in one or two other threads before: I'm a black and white movie fan. As such I'm on the search for B&W movies of course.
I do know that "The Good German" was never released on HDM.
So are there any other B&W movies than Casablanca out there on HD-DVD? My main genre would be some typicial sensual film. Something like Casablanca (which is already on the way to me).
*How else to begin a thread about classic Black and White movies?

"Good night and Good Luck"
This is not an old classic, but is one of the few B&W out on HD DVD.
Two others are "The 400 Blows" and "Jailhouse Rock."
"The Elephant Man" also.
Don't get me started on dvd classic B&W. I could list like 200 or so.Last edited by Arkadin; 01-18-2008 at 11:15 AM.

It would be nice if Universal would release Schindler's List. I have it in SD and it looks amazing upconverted. I can only imagine how much better it would look, ( and sound) in HD DVD.

'Schindler's List" will be amazing when it comes out for sure.
Personally I can't wait for "Hud" to come out on an hd disc. -

Thanks. I think "Good Night and Good Luck" and "Jail House Rock" are definately 2 movies I'll look after.
"The 400 Blows" however has a synopsis I'm absolutely not interested in.PSN/XBL: BLINX1234 -

nah if it was the smackdown forum you'd hear someone say "wtf fagtard it's teh colorz dude and teh colorz are teh betterz on teh bloorayz"... not that every bluray fanboy sounds like that... just the 12 year olds who thankfully got the ps3 instead of the xbox so i don't have to listen to them on xbox live
