Default 'White Noise 2' – High-Def Digest Review

Just posted Peter's review of 'White Noise 2,' a direct to video sequel that he says is actually more engaging and well-done than the original (though still not a great movie). With solid video and audio, plus a healthy assortment of extras, if you're a paranormal genre buff you might want to give it a rent.

I am glad to hear it is not half bad, especially since I bought it, but have not gotten around to watching it yet.

Saw this recently, it is half decent. Better than I thought, though I found White Noise to be more creepy than this one. Must be due to all those late nights listening to Art Bell.

It could have been better, but I did like this one better than the first.

Surprisingly, it’s slightly more engaging and well-done than the original
Wow, I find that surprising. I thought the first was pretty decent.

It's Fillion that makes this movie watchable. I found him a far more sympathetic character than Keaton's character in the first one. Still, it's pretty shit and i would'nt touch this HD disc with a barge pole.

The first one I thought was fine up until the horrible ending. I really have no clue why I decided to rent the sequel from netflix but I did and I thought it was horrible. Fillion in my opinion isnt on the same level as Michael Keaton. I thought Keaton held the first one together for most of the movie while Fillion I thought was no better than any actor you see in straight to dvd flicks.

Maybe others will think differently but i dont even think this is worth a rental. The first I think is a rental not the second one. If anyone watches the show Journeyman I felt like thats the role Fillion played in this movie.

Was this any good and worth the $17 price tag if I liked the first one?

Blind bought this here for 13 bucks. Gotta say its an good flick. It really has nothing to do with the first. More like a premonition thing were you save lives. The PQ was good through the most part although a tad soft in some scenes.AQ was good as well. Overall a good blind buy and recommended if you find it in a fire sale. I'm also biased in favor of Fillion.
Movie: 3.5/5
PQ: 4/5
AQ: 4/5

My wife just got back from Best Buy with WN 1 and 2, for $27...not too bad. We liked the first one till the end, but the second one has Fillion whom is awesome.
