Just a side note, Fletch and Fletch Lives are currently showing on HDNet Movies. Fun stuff!

It really seems like HDNET movies is a good precursor to movies showing up on both HD-DVD and Bluray.

They seem to appear about 4 months after they air on HDNET movies. Maybe just anecdotal but seems like a pattern.

This is great! Glad I didn't pick up the re-released DVD version. This is one of my all time favorites.

Not sure if i'll pre-order this one. It's been on TV at least 4 times this year. I've seen it a few too many times. If Amazon's price ends up under $20 then i'll probably get it, otherwise i'll just wait for a sale.

ben this is a one-liner-pollooza!

Great flick.

Part two is unfortuantely a different story though. It was good, just not great like the first one.

Hey hey its the Flecth-man. 6'3'', 6'9'' with afro. Yes, put it on the Underhilss bill, and give your-self a 20% tip.

Man you can go on and on with this movie.

I got the Jane Doe edition on DVD when it came out. Even with the heavy grain at times, this transfer was great. There was a lot of detail in it, even good depth. I'm definitely getting this one on HD DVD as well.

"I'm freda's boss."
"Who's Freda?"
"My Secretary."

...classic.

I hope this release is worth it. One of my faves.

Fletch: I'm John.
Gail Stanwyk: John who?
Fletch: John Cokk... tos... ton.
Gail Stanwyk: That's a beautiful name.
Fletch: Well, it's Scotch/Romanian.
Gail Stanwyk: That's an odd combination.
Fletch: Yeah, well, so were my parents.
