Default 'Goblet of Fire' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Kenneth's review of 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.' He says this is a very strong HD DVD release, boasting a stunning transfer, a bold TrueHD mix and a decent collection of supplements. Even better, Warner has included an exclusive "In-Movie Experience" that's exclusive to this HD DVD edition.

It's interesting that Warner decided to re-encode it. This makes me happy that I didn't import the disc...I came very close, several times.

This is my favorite of the series as well. Order Of The Phoneix is a close second. Saw this last Saturday night...I felt as I was watching the flick with fresh eyes, thanks to hd. Thinking about getting Prisoner Of Azkaban.

I owned the import and sold that prior to buying the boxset. I don't see any difference between the 2.

This one is probably my least favorite, I enjoyed the first three, then OFTP and last Goblet of fire.

Ditto. I was really impressed with the IME in Order of the Phoenix. I'm really looking forward to checking out the IME in the Goblet of Fire.

Borrowed this disc from my brother.

Great PQ and AQ----awful movie though. This movie may make for a good rental.

Picture quality is probably solid tier 1. It was very good, and def. alittle sharper than prisoner, but that may be due to source material.

Did you watch the other HP films? This movie was fantastic compared to the others. The others were good, but this is the best IMO.

I would say this is my favourite Harry Potter so far. Think I might import this US version seeing as the picture quality is improved. I never got round to buying the european edition. I wonder if the old european one is still being made.
