    Default 'Things We Lost in the Fire' -- pre-release buzz


    DreamWorks has announced their latest day-and-date HD DVD release, the Halle Berry drama 'Things We Lost in the Fire':

    Given the early retail announce, there are no specs or supplement details. DreamWorks PR tells us the full announce will come next week, so stay tuned.

    Retail is $39.98 for the HD DVD, and street date February 12, 2008.

    I got this title as well. Halle is also in Swordfish and Gothika in HD (nice up close cameo in Swordfish )

    Maybe, but I think its getting delayed because of Oscar season. Also the standard DVD was delayed along with it.

    You know, that is actually the best insight I have heard on these delays. Both of these could be contender material and delaying them to coincide with nominations makes a lot of sense.

    It should be noted that Beowulf has not been delayed from its February release date, and I don't think anyone thinks it is in the cards for the oscars.

    It should also be noted that the date changes happened a couple of days ago, even if HDD only now put out a news story. SO I would not read too much negative about the delays.

    It sounded like the kind of movie for me that one viewing would be enough. I just got it in from BB Online; plan to watch it tonight & will post my thoughts.
