'The Bourne Ultimatum' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'The Bourne Ultimatum.' He quite enjoyed the film itself, and says this HD DVD is also a winner, boasting great video, audio and supplements (including a good number of high-def exclusives).

Wow... TureHD from Universal, I hope this trend continues for all future releases... It's just too bad that I'm on a HD movie buying moratorium as not to screw up my family and friends gift buying efforts! LOL...

Wow. Dolby TrueHD 24 bit soundtrack. Is this the first 24 bit soundtrack on HD DVD?

I can't wait to watch for Amazon to deliver it this week. I've really been looking forward to this one but wasn't expecting a 24 bit soundtrack. What a nice surprise.

I have loved this series since "Bourne Identity" and they have managed to out do themselves in every subsequent movie. I'm glad Universal made such a great effort in this release, they are very hit or miss on their transfers.

Is it true that the TrueHD track has been dropped from the UK Version of the disc? I knew the dodgy photoshop on the cover was a warning sign :lol:

awesome... Although I have to say that the PQ review is pretty screwed up,, they make it seem like its just your average Picture Quality,, then give it a 4.5...
Wierdly enough,, after reading the review of high school musical 2 PQ,, and then reading the PQ review here,, I was suprised to see 4.5 on the PQ score..

I did not get a chance to see this in theatres. Not that I had any doubt, but Universal delivered with its biggest HD DVD release of the holiday season. Words cannot describe how excited I am to see this movie. Bring Bourne Home!

Hardly, but it's the first from Universal... I hope this along with Paramount putting movies out there with TrueHD is a sign of things to come from the HD exclusive studios... Until now you'd only find such things on warner releases, I'm guessing their format nutrality is what lead to warner being the best HD studio out there.
