Default 'Anchorman' - High-Def Digest review

Kenneth's review of 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy' is up. A huge fan of the film itself, he says this HD DVD is decent upgrade of the previously released 'Unrated' DVD, but nothing more.

Couldn't agree more with PQ review... colors are vibrant and popping in some sequences, but its really tough to get over the softness in plethora of grain in other scenes... which I also saw in Ron's coat in several well lit scenes as well. It's def worth the upgrade from standard release imo, even though the extras are not HD, I can reccomend the buy.... the film itself is among Ferrell's best comedies and deserves to be owned if you are a fan.

Wal-Mart didn't have any copies, but I've got too many movies to get first before this one.

This movie gets quoted by me and my buddies once in a while and we all break out laughing. It's one of Will Ferrel's best.

A visit to my local Fry's at lunch netted me Anchorman, Old School, We Were Soldiers, Sky Captain & Lucky # Slevin for $9.99 each. Not too shabby. Now - how to sneak them into the house . . .
