Default 'Justice League: New Frontier' -- pre-release buzz

Warner Premiere and DC Comics have announced their first-ever high-def release, Justice League: The New Frontier:

http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/justi...wfrontier.html

It's hitting Blu-ray, HD DVD and standard DVD day-and-date on February 26, 2008.

Specs include 1080p video and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio (though Warner may add to these specs in the future).

Extras are extensive, with two audio commentaries, two documentaries, and three bonus episodes of 'Justice League.'

Retail is $34.95 each.

I was already set on buying this, but those extra features make it impossible to pass this up. I guess it's too much to hope that the Justice League episodes would be in HD, but just getting that as extra content is cool enough.

Hey Peter-

Just a minor thing maybe, but the image of Justice League that was on Cartoon Network you used isn't of Justice League: New Frontier. This image would be more accurate:

I had planned on buying this from the start, however I'm unsure about if the extra cost is worth it for the HD DVD. I will probably wait for the review on this one before making my decision. Most of these comic releases have been getting only average reviews on the marvel releases, and haven't warranted the extra cost to buy.. however if there is a significant difference in PQ the I'll go for the HD DVD immediately.
