Default 'The Lawless' -- pre-release buzz

I've never heard of indie Phoenix Entertainment group before, but they have announced their debut high-def title, the HD DVD exclusive 'The Lawless'

http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/lawless.html

It's a direct-to-video premiere, and will hit high-def day-and-date with the DVD on February 5.

No tech specs yet, but there are no announced extras.

Retail is an affordable $19.98.

I ordered this a few weeks ago on Amazon, I think it's only $13.95. The story sounds good and the price is just so low.

Ugly as sin cover but for $13.95, I'm tempted.

Yeah, the synopsis does sound interesting. For me, I'll rent it for sure. I'll definitely give an indie film a go (if the story interests), because there are alot of diamonds in the rough from low budget films.

Judging by it's cover, you'd think it's a game to movie adaption (Army of Two). LoL.

Hey, Peter, this is not direct-to-video release. Phoenix Entertainment Group has a banner on their site (showing how dated it is) showing that it was in theatres on Oct. of this year.
