Default 'Half Baked' - High-Def Digest Review

After a week-long draught, Peter kicks off a week that will see at least three HD DVD reviews with his review of 'Half Baked.' The movie is what you would expect from a stoner comedy, though it does showcase a younger Dave Chappelle as lead actor/co-writer. As an HD DVD release, this one's just OK, earning 3.5 (out of 5) stars for video, and 3 for audio.

Movie choices like this confuse me! Why in the world did they choose Half Baked to come out on HD? It makes no sence to me. Oh well, another rental if Blockbuster ever adds it to their system (they still have not added last weeks releases yet -- Black Rain & Brokeback Mountain).

This movie is a cult classic already and has a pretty big following. I know I'll be picking it up.

I'm not one to bash comedies, but this is one kind of movie that I'll never be able to get into. If they ever release his TV series on HD DVD, lemme know!

I personally love Half-Baked. I'm sure me and my friends have worn out my SD copy, so I'll definately be picking this up as soon as I can

I love the movie but I don't know if it warrants buying HD since I already own SD.

Cult Classic! Yea it's stupid, but you know this before u watch it. I've had this for almost a year and finally sat down and watched it. I thought the transfer was really solid and more like a 4 then a 3 1/2? To each his own, but I love this movie.
