Default 'Talk to Me' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Talk to Me.' He says this one's a middle-of-the road HD DVD release, with fine but unspectacular audio and video, and a slim supplements package to match.

I was a bit surprised by Peter's review as I enjoyed this film. Perhaps we differed because I wasn't at all familiar with the life of Petey Green. I agree that Cheadle's performance was great, as was that of Ejiofor--Oscar nominations perhaps?

I did find the picture quality a bit soft, and I was hoping for more in the audio department as well.

Default talk to me

Agree with the review except for the "film value" of the review. This was a great movie in my humble opinion. Was a bit surprised as well. I actually expected the film value to be above the A/P quality. The extras part I agree with. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie - the acting, esp. the two leads really did it for me. One of my favorites of this year.

Damn...what a harsh review. I also liked this film very much. Oh well, not everyone likes the same things.

Surprised at the negative review of the film given the high marks from the critics on rotten tomatoes and the general public on imdb.

Agree with the picture quality comments though.

Overall I enjoyed this title a lot more than I thought I would, mainly because as Peter points out Don Cheadle gives a fantastic performance, possibly even a career-best.

I'm glad I ordered this title, just on a whim.

I thought this was a really good flick. Another grade-A job by Don Cheadle. I'm telling ya, he's in like, the top 5 of the most talented actors today in my opinion.
Movie: 4 outta 5
Video: 4 outta 5
Audio: 4 outta 5

This is definitely worth seeing if just once.

Peter hates nearly every movie. So don't feel like Talk to Me was singled out.

I have seen this cover a couple of times but did not read the review or synopsis...

I thought the was SNL's "Ladies Man".

I am completely serious.

I guess I will have to check this out now.
