Default 'White Noise: The Light' -- pre-release buzz

Looks like 'White Noise 2' is skipping the theaters and going directly to video:

http://hddvd.highdefdigest.com/whitenoisethelight.html

It's due January 8, the same day as 'White Noise,' which was just announced earlier this week.

No tech specs, but extras include two featurettes, deleted scenes and a trailer. The disc is also web-enabled.

Retail is $39.98.

well that somewhat depends on how you thought of the original...i thought the original was stupid but tollerable..but wouldnt pay for it in the movies and saw it on tv. Can someone give a link to a theatrical trailer(not a teaser) so I can further back up my post...or just prove myself wrong.

The first flick wasnt bad but have no desire to own it.

As for this version, I will definitely give it a rent since I like Nathan Fillion.

It actually got a higher rating score over the first one, over at imdb.

Check it out:

White Noise 2005
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0375210/

White Noise 2: The Light 2007
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0496436/

As above an above poster mentioned earlier, to each his own.

You should be able to catch both trailers here:
http://www.trailerfan.com/

I hope this helps.

I saw it a couple of months back, much better than the original which was boring, this is a bit more of a straight horror, though its one of those PG-13 type horrors.

Yea same here, I'm gonna give it a rent first. White Noise 2 does look more of a fast pace thrill ride (probably in terms of Final Destination, maybe) than it's original pace (albeit, the original wasn't that bad). We'll see.

Alot of foeks out there in Europe has definitely seen this first hand before us in the States, so maybe they'll be able to help us out with a heads up of what to expect.

I will rent this simply because Katee Sackoff and Nathan Fillion are in it.

I bought the local DVD release as Mr. Fillion was in it, but it wasn't very good. I should have known better.
