Default Universal: No 'Galactica: Razor' HD DVD

We've been getting all kinds of email from folks about this one, so we asked Universal to confirm or deny. Alas, despite listings on Amazon (and elsewhere), they say 'Razor' will not be released on HD DVD this December.

I would love to see this title brought to HD DVD but the $60 price tag I saw at Amazon was a little out line for a two hour feature. I would add it to my collection for $30....but not $60.

You should never pay attention to the amazon prices for unconfirmed titles. They are effectively just placeholders and are not a real indication of what the final price may be.

Check again, it's 20 bucks.

It's 20 bucks for the SD DVD. I was referring to the HD DVD that the still say will be released. I'm sure they will remove it soon since Universal says it is not to be.

I'm not too disappointed with this news. Battlestar Galactica is a good show, but it annoyed me on how the DVD sets were released.

Season 1 was fine, but then for season 2, it was Season 2.0 and then Season 2.5. If you bought both of them, you ended up paying more than what you would for what an entire season should be worth. It was like $40 for a half season, $80 for the whole season. No thanks.

I'm not sure how the high def box sets will be released, but it did annoy me with the SD DVD's.

This was the lost leader title for me getting a HD DVD player, Season 1 plus the movie would have been amazing since its fresh.....but i still want my BSG, unless they make some other major changes or push back release date I will be red and blu this winter.

I imagine it'll arrive on HD DVD sometime in the future, especially if the HD DVD edition of the TV show does enough business.

this will obviously be released on HD DVD, but not any time soon.

probably next year.

on a side note, the only BSG that i've seen was the first disc of the first season that i rented, but i never added the other discs.

now i'm excited for the season 1 HD DVD box set.

can't wait.

it's a great show.
