Default 'For Love of the Game' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Kenneth's review of 'For Love of the Game.' Although he had mixed feelings about the film itself, he says this HD DVD's top-notch video transfer and powerful TrueHD audio mix make it an easy recommend for fans, and worth a look for all.

Why do most of their recent catalog release inserts look so fake? They seriously look like something you'd find at some sidewalk shop in NY. I can't be the only one who thinks this...

I am glad to see another solid catalog release from Universal. I do not plan to buy this, but it is up at the top of my Netflix queue (behind the Matrix of course) and I cant wait to see it.

So I bought this yesterday and watched it. The film was really great, by the end of film the tension was high I was at the edge of my seat. I'm not sure why this film passed me by in the theatres and regular DVD. But I really liked the film and the HD DVD. Nice big surprise for me, and a terrific film.

I meant to comment on this release quite a while back but just never got around to it. Anyone else think this transfer was not a 4.5 star transfer?? I'd say it's somewhere between a 3.5 and a 4. It looked good, but not 'great'.
