Image is adding 3 more titles to its already released concert film HD-DVD series. Concert films by The Moody Blues and Roy Orbison highlight this news.

Ooh, Moody Blues! My very first concert when I was a kid was for the Moody Blues, so they have a special place in my heart
. Though I also think their music is great.

yeah, the Roy Orbison title is also especially welcome. It is a classic with a host of major stars including Bruce Springsteen!!

I agree. It is strange. I wonder if anyone knows? It would sure make it easier to keep track of their releases.

Hopefully they'll release Megadeth's Live in Buenos Ares on one of the formats soon. Maybe even give us the full concert and not the turnicated DVD version and/or without the acoustic park concert spliced in.

I'd like the Roy Orbison disc, but apparently it's an upconvert from SD. The original source must have been 480i.

I have A Black & White Night on both laser disc and the regular SD DVD. The DVD lacks the extended guitar battle with Bruce Springsteen on the Pretty Woman cut. There is a guitar battle on the DVD, but it is cut way too short. It has been suggested that this is because Bruce was outdone, as evident by wiping his brow in amazement while his colleague played. It will be interesting to see if the HD DVD includes this deleted portion of the concert.
